Luquetia lobella
Luquetia lobella is a rare moth, both in Britain and Holland. The species appears in two colours. Most animals are grey with ten black dots on the wing. These are extremely easily identified. The brown ones on the other hand are very difficult to identify. One, more or all black dots may be present, or not. Luckily the species has another characteristic feature. The palps are extremely long. They are of a dark colour, but in the middle is a nice, light band or ring. More about this species in the near future.
