Digger Wasp species Cerceris species
Of the 8 species of Cerceris Digger Wasps we have been able to identify the 3 above. We failed however in this case. It is one of the remaining species, but the pictures show too few details to make a positive identification. It is likely though this is one of the many species interested in weevils mainly. The females often store a lot of weevils in their nest, for many weevils are quite small. As we don't know the exact species, we are unable to provide you with more information, alas.
