Dicranomyia species Dicranomyia sp
The Crane Fly in the picture belongs to the genus Dicranomyia. In Holland alone there are some 18 species in this genus. Many species are hard to tell apart. This one probably is Dicranomyia chorea. But according to experts that is a difficult group. The group needs more attention and looking in to. So for the time being we stick to Dicranomyia sp.
