Round Snail Discus rotundatus

The shell below is extremely small (5 mm or less), but very beautiful and colourful as well. It is named after its shape: Round Snail. This species lives almost world wide. In Northern America it is often called the Rotund Disc. And did you find one? Then keep on looking, for the Round Snail perefers to live in colonies. Prefers woodland and hedges.
