Stone Centipede Lithobius microps
There are probably some 15 species of Stone Centipedes in Britain. This is a very common one, at least in England and Southern Wales. It also is one of the smallest. It has a very light colour, most other species are much darker. It runs extremely fast and is very difficult to photograph in the wild. The picture on this page is not of an outstanding quality, I am sorry to say.
