Devon Red-legged Robber Fly Neomochtherus pallipes
The Devon Red-legged Robber Fly is greyish and has striking yellowish legs. There are several other grey robberflies having yellow legs. The Devon Red-legged Robber Fly however can be identified by the dark smear on the thigh. Males are some 13 to 14 millimeters, females 14 to 16 millimeters. And that is all I could find on the internet, or in my books. Not a very populair guy, this one...
