Tipula lunata

Tipula lunata is a colourful Crane Fly: yellowish orange. And the end of the body is always slightly curled up. It is single breeded and can be seen in Britain from May to mid-June. There is not much more to be found about this species. And the information found on the internet is contradictory. According to some sources this is a woodland species, while others insist it is a meadow species.
